Mates Rates Referral Program: Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our Mates Rates Referral Program. These terms and conditions ("Referral Terms") govern your participation in the program.
Hims customers (each, a ”Referrer”) can refer eligible Mates and contacts (each, a “Mate”) to the Hims platform, including the Hims Medical Weight Loss Program and the Hair, ED and PE Treatment Plans (each, a “Hims Subscription”) via the Referrer’s unique referral code (”Referral Code”).
Subject to the conditions below, the Referrer and the Mate will each receive a discount (as set out in these Referral Terms) off their next order(s) on their Hims Subscription (”Reward”).
By participating in the Mates Rates Referral Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Referral Terms. Please note that the Mates Rates Referral Program is currently available to a limited group of eligible Hims patients and will be rolled out to all eligible patients at a later date.

Eligibility and Referral Process
1. To qualify for a Reward via the Mates Rates Referral Program: a. the Referrer must be an active patient on a Hims Subscription at the time the Referral Code is applied; and b. the Mate must:
be a new patient to Hims and the Hims Subscription (the Mate cannot be an active or previous patient to Hims, such as a patient changing or restarting treatment);
be at least 18 years old;
be a resident of Australia; and
be eligible for, and can accept treatment from, a practitioner on Hims' platform.
2. To redeem the offer:
a. an eligible Referrer must share their Referral Code with a Mate (eligible Referrers will be able to find their unique Referral Code in their Hims account under Patient Info > Referral Program); and
3. the Mate must:
a. insert the Referral Code at checkout;
b. be found eligible for the Hims Subscription by a Hims practitioner; and
c. successfully purchase their first order on a Hims Subscription using the Referrer's Referral Code.
4. The Referrer acknowledges that, by sharing the Referral Code, they will disclose their status as an active Hims patient to the Mate.
Similarly, the Mate acknowledges that, by accepting the Referral Code, they may disclose their status as an active Hims patient to the Referrer.
The Reward
1. Subject to these Referral Terms, a Referrer will receive a Reward for each eligible referral of a new Mate.
2. The Reward amount is determined by the Hims Subscription the Mate signs up to (not the Hims Subscription the Referrer is on) as set out below:

Weight Reset Program
Mate receives: $100 off first order
Referrer receives: $100 off their next order(s)
Hair Treatment Plan (Not including the Excluded Hair Products)
Mate receives: $50 off first order
Referrer receives: $50 off their next order(s)
Hair Treatment Plan - Excluded Hair Products (This pricing applies to Minoxidil 7% Foam and Oral Finasteride 1mg (”Excluded Hair Products”))
Mate receives: $35 off first order
Referrer receives: $35 off their next order(s)
ED Treatment Plan
Mate receives: $30 off first order
Referrer receives: $30 off their next order(s)
PE Treatment Plan
Mate receives: $20 off first order
Referrer receives: $20 off their next order(s)
3. Hims may change the specific Reward amounts from time to time in accordance with clause 14.
4. The Reward is applied automatically, as follows:
a. Referrer: the Reward (once redeemable) is applied to their next order(s) on any active Hims Subscription. There is a limit on how much Reward can be deducted from a single order of the Referrer’s Hims Subscription(s) (as set out below) .
If the Reward exceeds the amount that can be deducted from a single order, the balance will carry over to the Referrer's following order(s) (regardless of which Hims Subscription(s) they relate to) until the full Reward has been used. The maximum amount that can be applied to a single order of each Hims Subscription is:
Weight Reset Program: $100
Hair Treatment Plan (not including Excluded Hair Products): $50
Hair Treatment Plan - Excluded Hair Products: $35
ED Treatment Plan: $30
PE Treatment Plan: $20
For example: a Referrer on the ED Treatment Plan refers a Mate who joins the Weight Reset Program. The Referrer receives $100, applied as $30 off their next three orders and $10 off their fourth order.
For example: a Referrer on both the Hair Treatment Plan (next order due first) and the Hims Weight Reset Program (next order due second) refers a Mate who joins the Weight Reset Program.
The Referrer will receive $100, applied as $50 off their Hair Treatment Plan order and $50 off their Hims Weight Reset Program order.
b. Mate: the Reward (once redeemable) will be applied to their initial order on their new Hims Subscription.
5. The Mates Rates Referral Program will not remain open indefinitely, and Hims reserves the right to cancel any Referral Code and/or Reward once the Mates Rates Referral Program ends.
General
1. The Referrer must have obtained the clear and affirmative consent of the Mate to receive the Referral Code by SMS text, WhatsApp, email, social media, or any other applicable method.
The Referrer agrees that the Referrer is not an agent or authorised representative of Hims, when sharing the Referral Code or otherwise, and must only refer a Mate who has provided their permission prior to sharing the Referral Code.
2. The Reward and the Referral Code cannot be:
a. combined with any other offer, discount, referral (including any other Referral Code, Reward or point, unless otherwise provided for in these Referral Terms), gift card or any other promotional benefit;b. retroactively applied;
c. sold, transferred or redeemed for cash;
c. commercialised, in particular, nothing in these Referral Terms grants any person any right to use Hims’s logos, trademarks or other intellectual property to commercialise or market referrals, including for SEO or public advertising purposes; and
d. used if the Referrer or the Mate has cancelled their Hims Subscription before the Reward has been applied.
3. Hims will not be held responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected referrals.
4. Hims reserves the right to modify these Referral Terms at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon posting the revised Referral Terms on our website or notifying participants through other means.
If a participant claims the original Reward but the Referral Terms are subsequently changed to a new Reward before their Referral is processed, the participant will be eligible for the original Reward only.
5. The Hims Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy apply and form part of this Mates Rates Referral Program
6. Hims reserves the right to revoke any Referral Code and/or Reward, or otherwise disqualify any Referrer or Mate, in the event of any suspected fraud, act of bad faith or violation of these Referral Terms.
